DocUmeant Publishing is a division of the DocUmeant Family of Companies. Being based out of New York City, but not priced out of NYC allows you, our authors, to reap the benefit of having the prestige of a NYC publisher while retaining more of your royalties.
DocUmeant has been providing publishing and design services since 2005. Its CEO, Ginger Marks, has thrity-plus years experience in the corporate arena, having owned & managed a multi-million dollar surgical facility. Her experience in business management and marketing doesn't come from a text-book, but from real world experience. Our Team
Ginger Marks, CEO, Publisher/Designer
Born in Lansing, Michigan Ginger Marks moved to the Tampa Bay Area of Florida in 1978. She began her career as a business owner in partnership with the medical profession. Marks owned an operated a multi-million dollar surgical facility for 23 years with her late husband. After his passing, Ginger’s drive to succeed led her to become a Financial Advisor while working on the side, for her own purposes, in the field of design with the founding of GraphInc., which eventually became DocUmeant.
Her love for writing and design has been the catalyst for her successful career in the publishing area. Coming from a family of published authors and speakers, it was no surprise when she, herself, embarked on the writing journey.
Having helped numerous authors and business owners, as well as students, Ginger shares her expertise as a published author and business owner. She is an Expert Author for EzineAuthors.

Luanne Stevenson of Writers One Stop, VP Editing
Luanne Stevenson is a creative writer, who previously worked for the Boston Examiner, as a “special-kids-and –special-education” contributor, writing content for the Education and Parenting Section. She owns and operates writers1stop.com, a fully licensed small business, offering professional writing services.
She is a freelance writer and has written for Ellechor Publishing House and their writing work shop. She is a member of Mediabistro, Women Business Owners, and The Published Author’s Group. She has a book project forthcoming that she is writing with Marianne Russo, founder of CoffeeKlatch, also contributes as a writer for the Wordpreneur Network.
Kim Emerson of MasterKoda.com, Exec VP Marketing
Kim Mutch Emerson is a professional copy and fiction writer and marketing specialist. Her unique ability to write from her clients deepest desires creates websites, ad copy, sales letters, etc that convert leads into customers.
Emerson is the founder of MasterKoda, a marketing company that specializes in author and book marketing. They offer full scale online promotions with LitFlix™ (book video trailers) and distribution, pressrelease writing and distribution, virtual book tours and book launch events as well as many other forms of social and viral internet marketing services.
As the host of ReadersRockinRadio she offers our authors the unique opportunity to appear as a spotlight guest on her radio show, providing you… with audio that can be used to market your book across many different platforms.
Emerson is currently at work on a new book to be published in 2012. Kim enjoys travel, family and friends in her off hours.
Philip S. Marks, VP Technical Editing & Photography
One of the few native Floridians, Philip Marks was born in Tampa, Florida. He has University degrees in Physics, Engineering, and Zoology. Marks has work experience in Aerospace, Biomedical, and Artificial Intelligence areas, with substantial additional knowledge in some related fields. His professional education and experience allows him to verify and edit scientific and technical aspects of the projects he accepts.
